Glasgow Rangers winger Daniel Candeias has handed the Ibrox side a major boost by agreeing a new contract with the club.

Daniel Candeias has taken to Twitter to thank the Rangers fans after the club confirmed on their official website that he has signed a contract extension with the Ibrox side.
Unlike several of the players to arrive during Pedro Caixinha’s ill-fated tenure at the club, Candeias has proved to be an excellent signing for the Gers. The Portuguese is the most prolific provider of assists in the Scottish Premiership this season, having set up eight goals for his teammates already.

He has also scored four league goals, including one in Sunday’s agonising Old Firm defeat to Celtic at Ibrox. Unsurprisingly, the club have looked to reward the 30-year-old with just over one year left on the deal he signed when he joined the Light Blues.
The club have confirmed on their official website that the winger has signed a contract extension that will run until 2020, making him the latest first-team star to put pen to paper on fresh terms with the club.

And after the deal was confirmed, Candeias took to social media to comment on his new deal and pay tribute to the supporters who have undoubtedly taken to the wide-man during his time at Ibrox.
And Graeme Murty will be hoping that he can continue to make an impact for the Light Blues during his time with Rangers as he is currently a crucial part of one of the most lethal front fours that the Gers have had for a long time.
Here is what Candeias posted on Twitter…
