Glasgow Rangers picked up a 4-1 win at Ibrox, and Daniel Candeias was excellent in the victory.

Rangers returned to action following the international break by picking up three points with a fantastic 4-1 win over Dundee at Ibrox at the weekend – and while he may not have got on the scoresheet, there is no question that one summer signing made a major impression for Pedro Caixinha’s men.
Daniel Candeias put in a brilliant display against Neil McCann’s men, justifying exactly why the Gers decided to bring him to the club in the summer.

The 29-year-old began the game by putting in a number of crosses that caused Dundee plenty of problems and arguably deserved to be converted by his Light Blues teammates.
He did register an assist just before the break, but not from a cross, as his wonderful flick played Alfredo Morelos in, and the Colombian took advantage by breaking the deadlock.

It was Candeias who set up Rangers’ second also, as after receiving the ball in the Dundee half, he showed a tremendous amount of composure to hang the ball up into the box, perfectly picking out Josh Windass who headed home to double the Gers’ lead.
Some may need to see Candeias feature against the better sides in the Scottish Premiership before they are fully convinced, but his displays so far certainly suggest that he brings the quality going forward that should enable Rangers to unlock defences on a regular basis.
