Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers have spoken to Daniel Bachmann, claims the Watford-owned Kilmarnock goalkeeper.

Bachmann is on loan at Rangers’ Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock from Watford in the Premier League.
The former Austria Under-21 international goalkeeper has revealed that he has held talks with Rangers.
The 24-year-old has also stated that two clubs from Germany are interested in him, and has suggested that he wants to compete for a place in the Watford team next season.
Bachmann told The Scottish Sun: “I’ve enjoyed my time with Kilmarnock a great deal, but it’ll be over in a few weeks.
“There have been talks with Rangers, although no firm offers and two German clubs have also shown interest in me. My priority will be to compete for a place at Watford next season.”

No need at Rangers?
Allan McGregor is the first-choice goalkeeper at Rangers, and it is hard to see the Scotsman lose his place the team next season.
Wes Foderingham is the second-choice goalkeeper at the Gers, but he could well decide to move on due to his lack of playing time this campaign.
Bachmann – who earns £3000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – is a very good goalkeeper, but Rangers will be wise to promote a couple of young goalkeepers from the academy.
