Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have signed Daniel Arzani on loan from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

As announced on Celtic’s official website today, the Hoops have signed Arzani on a two-year loan deal from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, has played five times for Australia and is an international teammate of Rogic.
Australia international midfielder Rogic has been on the books of Celtic since January 2013 when he joined from Central Coast Mariners for a transfer fee reported by The Telegraph to be worth £400,000.
Arzani has revealed that he spoke to Rogic before moving to Celtic on loan from Premier League champions City.
The talented and promising teenager has also given his take on Celtic Park atmosphere during matches.
Arzani told Celtic’s official website: “I gave Tom a call and had a chat with him about the club and everything was positive.
“Basically he said to me that if it wasn’t so good, he wouldn’t have signed an extension to stay at Celtic Park.
“Apparently, playing in front of the Celtic fans is absolutely amazing and I’m really excited about that.
“All of Celtic’s home games look absolutely amazing. The scenes at the game are unbelievable, and I love it when the crowd gets behind me.
“I’m an attacking player. I love to take players on and hopefully I can bring some of that to the team.”

Good signing for Celtic
Arzani is only 19 years of age, and it is clear that the Australian is still developing and is not the finished product.
However, the teenager is a good signing for Celtic and will enhance the quality of the Hoops’ attack.
City signed the youngster from Melbourne City earlier this month.
