Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want Dani Ceballos of Real Madrid.

According to Marca, Dani Ceballos does not want to leave Real Madrid permanently, and that should be music to the ears of Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy.

It has been reported by Spanish publication Marca that Ceballos still dreams of succeeding at Madrid and does not want to be sold.

The report has also claimed that the 22-year-old central midfielder would prefer to go out on loan or have a buy-back clause.

According to AS, Tottenham are interested in signing the Spain international in the summer transfer window and have already spoken to the central midfielder.

The former Real Betis star is a very talented footballer and would make Tottenham a better team than they are at the moment, and him reportedly preferring a loan move away from Madrid does play into Tottenham chairman Levy’s hands.

Levy is known to love a bargain signing, and if he is able to get Ceballos essentially on a free instead of paying the €50 million (£44.87m) transfer fee that Madrid want – as reported by Marca – then one suspects that he would be welcomed by Tottenham.
