But Ceballos’s promise hasn’t exactly gone down well with Arsenal fans, as they are now wanting the players to prove themselves with actions rather than words.
It is rare for a player to come out and promise victory, but Arsenal will surely feel confident of success in the Europa League.
The Gunners have taken maximum points from their three group games to date, and thumped Molde 4-1 in their last meeting.
Whether Ceballos will play in the midweek contest remains to be seen.
Arteta has tended to rotate his side in the Europa League, but Arsenal’s midfield options are currently limited due to injury problems.
