Will Kyle Walker stay put at Tottenham after all?
Juventus’ Dani Alves in action
Dani Alves has elected to leave Juventus, according to The Mail, with the Turin giants ready to release him from his expensive contract.
The paper claim he is on the verge of signing with Manchester City and reuniting with Pep Guardiola with who he enjoyed so much success at Barcelona.
He won the Champions League three times at Barcelona and six La Liga titles, plus the Serie A title last season.

Alves’ move could have a major impact on Tottenham Hotspur, as it could well mean right-back Kyle Walker stays put.
Walker has been tipped to join Manchester City, with the Telegraph reporting Spurs have already begun looking at replacements.
The Mirror reported Spurs chairman Daniel Levy wants £60 million for Walker, which may well have put City off.

The Independent claim City still want to buy both, but Tottenham clearly now have a stronger hand.
Walker is likely to view moving to City as a bigger risk, as he faces being stuck on the bench behind Alves in a World Cup year.
While Bayern Munich have been touted by The Sun as interested in Walker, Tottenham’s chances of keeping their side together is enhanced with City making their move for Alves.
