Arsenal fans do not seem to be particularly keen on the idea of Aaron Ramsey coming back at the expense of Hector Bellerin.
Calcio Mercato say that Arsenal are currently negotiating with Juventus over a swap deal.
There is some talk that Juve could offer the Gunners Ramsey and cash to take Bellerin away from them.
But many Arsenal supporters suggest that the deal actually isn’t one which appeals to them.
Surprising reaction?
The reaction may come as a slight surprise, as Ramsey was a popular figure during his first spell at Arsenal.
However, the Welshman has struggled in recent years, and there is no guarantees he would be able to have the same impact at the Emirates Stadium if he was to return.
Ramsey has struggled badly with injuries, and given his high salary – he could be a risky signing.
What Ramsey would offer Arsenal is a greater goal threat from midfield areas.
Arsenal haven’t had a goalscoring midfielder in their ranks since Ramsey left the first time, and that could aid Mikel Arteta’s side next season, if the transfer was to go through.
