Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the goal that Dane Scarlett scored today.
What’s the story?
Tottenham were in action against Leyton Orient in a pre-season game today.
It was new Tottenham head coach Nuno’s first match in charge of the North London club.
Spurs’ performance was not particularly great and the game ended in a 1-1 draw, but the main talking of the match was Scarlett’s goal.
Tottenham have posted a video of the goal from the 17-year-old striker which you can see below.
The teenager latched onto a through ball from Lucas Moura and slotted it home.
It was a brilliant finish, and it is remarkable how the youngster could keep his calm and composure.

As you can see from the tweets below, Tottenham fans are extremely excited about the teenage striker.
Well, some of them anyway.
Former Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho recently raved about the teenager in The Times.
Scarlett is only 17, and the teenager should not be put under any undue pressure.
However, it is clear that the striker is very talented, and perhaps he will get decent playing time under Nuno in the first team next season.
