Dana White had no time for a fake viral rumor that Arman Tsarukyan was on stand-by for UFC 324.

With UFC 324 just days away, there is a lot of anticipation about the event. The main event bout features a highly anticipated clash between Paddy Pimblett and Justin Gaethje.

However, with the event so close, there has been some misinformation about Arman Tsarukyan being involved, given Justin Gaethje’s alleged injury issues.

Dana White laughs off Arman Tsarukyan as Pimblett vs. Gaethje standby

An Instagram post caught some traction recently, in which an unverified source claimed that Arman Tsarukyan was the backup fighter for Justin Gaethje should the latter not recover from his “neck injury” in time for UFC 324.

In the comments of this post, Dana White shared a GIF of Dave Chappelle (as Charlie Murphy) laughing viscerally, suggesting that there is no truth to this rumor.

For someone like White, who recently claimed that his algorithm doesn’t involve much MMA content, to find this post and shut it down is quite hilarious.

Perhaps the longtime promoter might look at this fabricated information as a sign that fans are interested in a potential future bout between Paddy Pimblett and Arman Tsarukyan.

Arman Tsarukyan and Paddy Pimblett’s war of words highlighted during fight week

Despite having much of his focus on his opponent, Paddy Pimblett has taken time from several interviews to slam Arman Tsarukyan during his press run.

The Liverpool-based fighter has certainly not minced words when discussing a possible fight with Tsarukyan.

As for the Georgian UFC star, he has managed to make himself a key talking point during a fight week that doesn’t involve him in any capacity.

For now, Pimblett will do his best to keep his focus on Justin Gaethje, who poses a significant threat to his undefeated UFC career.
