Dana White delivered what will likely become another one of his memorable rants, this time aimed at Oscar De La Hoya after hearing about the recent trouble facing his rival.
The former champion-turned-promoter’s Golden Boy Promotions is reportedly facing foreclosure after defaulting on a loan linked to their Downtown Los Angeles office. The loan in question had a remaining balance of $23 million from an original $27 million CMBS loan tied to their 150,000-square-foot building.
White took the opportunity to mock De La Hoya over his struggles, referencing an infamous set of photos in the process. He called Golden Boy Promotions – now a direct competitor to his Zuffa Boxing venture – a ‘sinking ship’ and seemed to relish the former fighter’s situation.
Dana White tears into Oscar De La Hoya in fresh rant

While watching the latest Zuffa Boxing event at Meta Apex in Las Vegas, White hopped on social media personality Nina Drama’s Kick stream and caught up with fans. During the conversation, he didn’t hold back when discussing his feelings about De La Hoya.
White was asked about Eddie Hearn, a promoter he has a much better relationship with. The conversation quickly shifted to De La Hoya, whose promotion has been dealing with well-publicised financial issues.
The 56-year-old businessman said: “Oscar is on a sinking ship and will not shut the f— up. This guy is fascinating. He’s going to have to throw the panties and stockings back on and get on OnlyFans to start paying his rent.
“My boy is running out of money, the ship is sinking very fast and he’s talking s— all the way down… Is that what you wanted? Get the panties and fishnets back on and pay back the $23million you owe in rent, buddy. Talking s— and f—ing… Bye.”
The reports from The Real Deal point to Golden Boy Promotions being in default, rather than De La Hoya himself. However, given that the promoter owns a majority stake in Golden Boy Promotions, it is easy for lines between personal and company matters to become blurred.
The reference to White’s words dates back to 2007 when photos surfaced showing De La Hoya dressed in fishnets, a tutu, and high heels – a situation he later admitted was real after initially denying it.
