Dana White had a feeling Jake Paul was headed for serious injury in his most recent bout.

Jake Paul’s venture into the ring ended in a brutal defeat, stopped inside six rounds by Anthony Joshua.

He came away from the bout with a double fractured jaw, which meant he spent Christmas on a liquid diet.

Most people expected him to be knocked out by the former two-time heavyweight champion, but few were as sure of the outcome as UFC CEO Dana White.

Dana White was recently asked what he made of Paul’s fight with Joshua.

White, who is reportedly worth around $600 million, was not shy about his feelings on the match-up.

“I think that everybody that was involved in that should be embarrassed. I can’t even f—ing believe it even allowed to happen,” he stated.

The UFC president went on to say that he did not think Joshua carried Paul to the sixth round and explained why he did not place a huge bet on an AJ win.

“I’m sure [Joshua] has never sparred with anyone who is running and tackling.

“I was willing to bet. I started calling. I would’ve bet every f—ing thing I owned on that fight,” he said.

The businessman then added: “But what I was worried about was that kind of goofy s— happening. When he started tackling him and grabbing his legs, all it takes is him blowing his ACL out, and now he’s outta the fight.

“I’d be calling you up, ‘Hey, remember all those free tickets?’”

Donald Trump steps in during Dana White and Jake Paul meeting

Donald Trump was on hand to mediate when Dana White and Jake Paul finally crossed paths after years of tension.

The US President was at the College Football Playoff National Championship in Miami on Monday, where the encounter took place.

White was spotted in a suite at Hard Rock Stadium, sitting alongside Trump.

Paul has often taken aim at White over UFC fighter pay and contract terms. He even released a diss track about him.

In return, the 56-year-old has called Paul’s boxing career a gimmick and criticised him for fighting smaller, retired MMA fighters.

In one moment captured on camera, Jake shook someone else’s hand while Dana stayed seated. It was not until Trump brought them into the same conversation that they interacted directly.

The clip does not have audio, but it seems like White asked Paul about his broken jaw at one point.

There is no indication if they resolved any of their issues though since the video cuts off before their conversation ended.
