Have Leeds United learned their lesson?

Leeds United should have no excuses for leaving their transfer business to deadline day.
In January the Whites were burned for leaving their business until the final hours, and a deal for Swansea’s Dan James fell through at the deadline.
Its hard to measure how costly this was, but James went on to sign for Manchester United for £15 million in the summer as Leeds missed out on promotion.
Can Leeds really afford to leave their business until the final day again?

Losing out on a player once in these circumstances could be deemed unlucky. To do it twice would be foolish.
That should prompt Leeds to push through their business today, and not leave it to chance on deadline day, which has an early deadline of 5pm.
Leeds need a striker to replace Kemar Roofe, are also chasing winger Ryan Kent, and also need a back-up goalkeeper.
Good luck getting all of that done in one day if nothing is completed today.
