Rangers have signed winger Dalcio on loan from Benfica.
Rangers have snapped up winger Dalcio on a season-long loan deal from Benfica – and he has told the club’s official website just how important manager Pedro Caixinha was in the deal.
The Gers added two new faces last week by signing Cagliari defender Bruno Alves and Aberdeen midfielder Ryan Jack, but manager Caixinha is far from done in the transfer market.

Now, Dalcio – who possesses pace and power down the right hand side – arrives to help the Rangers attack, and he has been discussing his move to Ibrox.
Dalcio told the Rangers official website that he was attracted by three things; the history of Rangers, the size of the club and, most importantly, their ‘amazing’ fans.

The forward added that manager Caixinha has told him that he is ready to help him improve at Rangers, vowing to aid the club’s pursuit to challenge at the top of Scottish football once again.
“What attracted me was the history of the club, the size of the club, and mainly, the supporters – the amazing fans the club has,” said Dalcio. “The gaffer was a real influence on me too. I know he is really competitive and ambitious, and that was the reasons I wanted to join him.”
“The manager has said he is here to help me and to improve me. On the club, we need to put it on top where it belongs,” he added.
