Dalcio flopped during a loan spell at Rangers under Pedro Caixinha.

Dalcio has thanked Rangers fans for their support on Instagram after a banner that read ‘Dalcio Loyal’ came to his attention over the weekend.
The 22-year-old flopped at Rangers during his 2017-18 loan spell, after Pedro Caixinha brought him to Ibrox as part of an influx of Portuguese signings. Daniel Candeias, Fabio Cardoso and Bruno Alves were also signed.
Dalcio managed just three appearances for the Gers during that loan, playing both legs against Progres Niederkorn before managing a one-minute cameo role in a 4-1 win over Hamilton in September 2017. He failed to feature after that.
A banner came to the Portuguese winger’s attention over the weekend and it prompted Dalcio to post a message on his Instagram story, thanking Rangers fans for their support.

Dalcio, who is still on the books at Benfica, has returned to his boyhood club Belenenses for the entire 2018-19 campaign on loan. He has proved somewhat more successful, featuring 18 times this season for the top-tier side.
He has failed to score or provide a single assist, though, and is yet to make an appearance for Benfica’s first team. Indeed, the Portugal Under-20 international has played 50 times for the club’s second string, but never the senior side.
