Dalcio makes new move, a year after Rangers spell ended

A year ago Dalcio’s underwhelming loan spell at Rangers had come to an end.

It was no surprise, with the Portuguese prospect struggling at Ibrox from day one. Staying at Rangers was never an option.

He returned to Benfica and last season was sent out to Belenenses on loan.

Now the former Rangers loanee has left Portugal permanently.

Dalcio has joined Greek side Panetolikos, report Noticias Ao Minuto.

Panetolikos finished ninth in the Greek Super League last season.

At 23, Dalcio moving on from Benfica was overdue, with it unlikely he would ever crack their first team.

Last season he made 23 appearances out on loan, but failed to register any goals or assists.
