Liverpool target and Nice defender Dalbert Henrique seems to favour a move to Inter Milan.

Nice defender Dalbert Henrique has told The Mirror that Liverpool are interested in signing him in the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old left-back, though, has made it clear that he wants to move to Italian club Inter Milan this summer.

“We had a fantastic season and it was only natural that proposals arrived,” Dalbert told The Mirror.

“My agent was contacted by over 10 European clubs, including Liverpool and Inter, who progressed in their desire to have me in the squad.

“Inter made a proposal that I find to be irresistible and I think over the next few days we can have a happy outcome for everyone.”

Nice left back Dalbert

Dalbert joined Nice in the summer of 2016 and enjoyed a very successful 2016-17 campaign, as his side ended up as high as third in Ligue 1.

The Brazilian is a very talented and promising left-back, and one can understand why Liverpool are interested in him.

The Reds do need to sign a left-back in the summer transfer window, as it would not be wise of manager Jurgen Klopp to rely on James Milner to repeat heroics of last season in 2017-18; after all, the Englishman is a midfielder by trade.

However, from Dalbert’s comments it seems that Liverpool will not be able to secure his services this summer, as the Brazilian clearly wants to join Serie A outfit Inter.
