Dakota Ditcheva moved to 15-0 in her MMA career with a comfortable win at PFL Africa.

Known as ‘Dangerous’, she was already considered one of the top female fighters in the sport before stepping into the cage against Sumiko Inaba on Saturday night.

Ditcheva delivered a strong showing, picking up another win in Cape Town, South Africa.

But her run of nine straight stoppage wins ended, as she went the distance for the first time since March 2022.

Dakota Ditcheva cries in post-fight interview

Ditcheva wasn’t pleased with her return to the cage, following her knockout win over Taila Santos in November 2024.

The 26-year-old picked up an injury during the fight, and she’s worried it might keep her out of action again.

“I think I’ve injured my left hand,” a tearful Ditcheva said during her post-fight interview.

“I’m more gutted because I’ve been out for so long, and I’ve come back, and I’m injured again.

“I hope you guys enjoyed it anyway. Thank you so much.”

Fans have been eager to see Ditcheva join the UFC, but it seems they’ll have to wait. She has decided to stay put for now.

Despite the injury setback, she had some significant news about her career plans.

“I have just re-signed with PFL,” Ditcheva revealed.

“We’ve come to a great agreement and I’m gonna look forward to the next few years together.

“So, hopefully we can carry on bringing crowds like this because you guys really set a standard.”
