
Michael Owen has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal losing to Manchester City on New Year’s Day, and has suggested that Liverpool and Chelsea would be disappointed with the result.
Arsenal have suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of City at the Emirates Stadium.
Gabriel was sent off in the second half of the Premier League game on Saturday, and Martin Odegaard was also denied a penalty in the opening 45 minutes.
Former Liverpool striker Owen was following the match, and he has given his take on Arsenal.
Owen has also said that the win for City is bad for title rivals Liverpool and Chelsea.
Pep Guardiola’s side are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 53 points from 21 matches.

Chelsea are second with 42 points from 20 games, while Liverpool are third with 41 points from 19 games.

We think that City should not get complacent.
