Tottenham Hotspur and Celtic are both said to be interested in Dael Fry of Middlesbrough.

Both Celtic and Tottenham are both said to be keeping a close eye on Fry ahead of the January transfer window.
If the pair do come in for Fry at the start of 2019 then the defender could have a tough decision to make over his future.
But he should pick Celtic over Tottenham, as his chances of playing would be fair greater.
Granted, Spurs have a brilliant track record of bringing through young English talent in recent times, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s defence looks so strong.
Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld are Spurs’ experienced options, while Davinson Sanchez and Juan Foyth provide great depth.
The bad news for Fry is that Sanchez and Foyth are so young that they have enough time to develop into superstars, and that means he would join Spurs as fifth choice at best.

At Celtic, the England youth international could see a clear route into Brendan Rodgers’ side’s first team though.
Although Filip Benkovic has impressed since arriving at Celtic, he is expected return to Leicester City when his loan spells expires, and Dedryck Boyata’s future is still slightly uncertain.
It leaves Rodgers potentially having to reshape his entire defence at Parkhead soon, and if Fry was to arrive in Glasgow in January, he would be well placed to get a starting role sooner rather than later.
