Everton reportedly want Edin Dzeko and Marcel Brands could have a clever way to get him.

It looks like Everton might want a striker in January.
Football Ghana has recently claimed that Everton are interested in Sparta Prague hitman Benjamin Tetteh, while Italian outlet Il Messaggero reckons that Roma’s Edin Dzeko is also on the shopping list over the next couple of weeks.
The Toffees’ Director of Football has previously claimed during the club’s AGM that he had no ‘big’ plans for this transfer window, insisting that additions would only be made if some players left the club first.
Dzeko, a Premier League champion with Manchester City on two occasions, would certainly represent a big signing for the Goodison Park club.
And do they have a creative way of getting the 6’4 striker?
The Daily Mail have reported that Roma want Everton’s Morgan Schneiderlin and, if true, how about a swap?
Dzeko, who earns £76,000 per week in Italy [Calciomercato], is a better goalscorer than Schneiderlin is a midfielder, but the Frenchman is three years younger and has one year longer on his contract. He is simply worth more money in the market.
But Everton don’t need the £20 odd million that he would bring in. They need a tried-and-tested Premier League marksman and Dzeko – who has 50 goals in England’s top flight – is just that.
Brands is already a very popular figure among the Goodison faithful for his summer signings, most of whom have been superb, but the Dutchman would be even more of a hero if he kills two birds with one stone by signing Dzeko and offloading Schneiderlin in one fell swoop.
