Curtis Woodhouse has stated on Twitter that he would like to see Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster at Sheffield United next season.
The former United midfielder has been impressed with Brewster, and has suggested a loan move for the 20-year-old striker to the Blades for the 2020-21 campaign.
Woodhouse made the comments about the England Under-21 international after watching him in action for Swansea against Brentford away from home at Griffin Park in the second leg of the Championship playoff semi-final tie.
Brewster scored for the Swans in the 78th minute, but that did not prevent the Welsh club from losing the match 3-1 and the tie 3-2 on aggregate.
The youngster joined Swansea on loan from Premier League champions Liverpool in the January transfer window and is now returning to the Reds.
According to WhoScored, during his loan spell at the Swans, Brewster made 21 starts and one substitute appearance in the championship, scoring 11 goals in the process.
Despite the quality and form of the youngster, due to the strength of the Liverpool attack, it is likely that he will be sent out on loan again this summer.
Meanwhile, Pedro Chirivella – who left the Reds this summer – has congratulated Liverpool youngster Curtis Jones on Twitter on winning the Premier League 2 Player of the Season award.
