Should Everton have made a move for Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck in the summer transfer window?

Former Sheffield United and Birmingham City midfielder Curtis Woodhouse has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Everton should have signed Danny Welbeck from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Woodhouse has suggested that Everton should have replaced Romelu Lukaku with Welbeck.
Lukaku is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and left the Toffees for Manchester United.
The Merseyside did not sign a like-for-like replacement, which is one of the main reasons behind their disappointing performances and results so far this season.
Woodhouse, 37, has suggested on Twitter that Everton should have moved for Arsenal striker Welbeck in the summer transfer window.

Welbeck has been on the books of Arsenal since the summer of 2014 when he joined from Premier League rivals Manchester United for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £16 million.
The 26-year-old is a talented striker, but the problem is that during his time at the Gunners so far, he has been affected by injuries.
