Curtis Woodhouse says West Ham should sign Newcastle 29-year-old

Curtis Woodhouse has said on Twitter that West Ham United should sign Callum Wilson from Newcastle United in the summer of 2021.

The former Sheffield United and Birmingham City midfielder has said that he really likes Newcastle striker Wilson.

Woodhouse made the comment when asked by a Newcastle fan to rate the 29-year-old striker.

Callum Wilson to West Ham United?

Wilson has has injury problems this season, but when he has played, he has been superb for Newcastle.

The 29-year-old is the number striker at Newcastle and is one of the first names on the teamsheet when he is fit and available.

According to WhoScored, the England international striker has scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 21 Premier League starts for the Magpies so far this season.

West Ham are on the hunt for a new striker in the summer of 2021, according to Eurosport, and a move for Wilson would make sense.

The striker is at the top of his game and would be able to make an immediate impact.

However, Newcastle signed Wilson only last summer, and it is very unlikely that the Magpies will be willing to sell him after just one season.
