Hull City’s Andrew Robertson is reportedly wanted by Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Curtis Woodhouse has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Hull City defender and reported Liverpool target Andrew Robertson is not good enough for top-four club in the Premier League.
Robertson has been linked with a move from Championship side Hull to Premier League outfit Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
According to The Mirror, the Reds are interested in signing the left-back this summer and are in talks with the Tigers over an £8 million deal.
Former Birmingham City and Hull midfielder Woodhouse, who is now a professional boxer and also manages football club Bridlington Town, has given his verdict on the 23-year-old left-back on Twitter.
Robertson is not exactly a ‘great’ left-back, but the Scotland international has proved himself in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old is still quite young, and working with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could help him improve his game.
Liverpool do need to sign a left-back as Klopp cannot rely on James Milner yet again next season. After all, the Englishman is a midfielder by trade.
