Derby County defender Curtis Davies and Liverpool star James Milner are former Aston Villa teammates.

Derby County defender Curtis Davies has taken to Twitter to send a message to his former Aston Villa teammate and Liverpool midfielder James Milner.
Milner played in his 500th Premier League game on Saturday afternoon, as Liverpool got the better of Bournemouth 4-0 away from home.
Davies played with Milner at Aston Villa, and the 33-year-old Derby defender has sent a heartfelt message to the 32-year-old former England international midfielder – who earns £120,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – on Twitter.

Consistency
Milner may not one of the ‘greatest’ players to have played in the Premier League, but the former Leeds United and Newcastle United star is certainly one of the most consistency.
In terms of effort and commitment week in and week out, the 32-year-old gives his best all the best, and there is no surprise that the Englishman remains an important player for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
Liverpool are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 42 points from 16 matches, just a point clear of second-placed Manchester City.
