Mateo Kovacic about to leave Chelsea for Manchester City

Good business from the Blues
In our opinion, Chelsea are about to make a good business deal regarding Mateo Kovacic and Manchester City.
Now, of course, the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are going to lose a very good player.
The Croatia international is one of the best midfielders around, and that City are keen on him shows how highly he is rated in the footballing community.
After all, City manager Pep Guardiola does not sign players who are not good.
However, getting £25 million for a 29-year-old is good business from Chelsea, especially when you consider they paid £40 million for him in 2019.
During his time at Stamford Bridge, the former Madrid star helped Chelsea win the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League once each.
Now, of course, ideally Chelsea should have keep Kovacic, but if they are losing him, at least they are getting a decent transfer fee.
