Everton are reportedly keen on defender Cuco Martina.

Defender Cuco Martina has told FOX Sports NL that he would love a move to Everton amid recent speculation surrounding a move to Goodison Park.
The Toffees may be focusing on big-money additions this summer, but The Independent recently claimed that the club are closing in on the signature of Martina to boost their defence.
General view before the game
With Seamus Coleman out long-term with a major knee injury, Everton have been left a little short at right back, with Mason Holgate and Jonjoe Kenny the only recognised options for Koeman right now.
Both players are talented prospects, with Kenny starring for the England Under-20’s this summer, but move experience is needed – and Martina has emerged as a top target.

The former FC Twente defender was signed by Koeman at Southampton in the summer of 2015, serving as a utility man across defence when needed, though he mostly played at right back.
Now, the 27-year-old Curacao international captain is a free agent having been released by Southampton at the end of his contract, and a reunion with Koeman has been strongly rumoured.

Martina has been asked about the situation by FOX Sports NL, and the free agent defender admitted that he has read the rumours, but he actually doesn’t know anything about a move just yet.
Martina added that he would of course love a move to Everton as they are a very big club, and it remains to be seen whether Koeman completes that reunion now Martina is free to move on.
“Yes, I’ve read (the rumours), but I don’t know anything about it now,” said Martina. “Do I want it? Yes, Everton is a very big club. Who doesn’t want that?” he added.
