Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to be keen to snap up Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa.

CSKA Moscow sporting director Roman Babayev’s comments to Championat should give Wolverhampton Wanderers confidence that they can land Ahmed Musa, if they do make a move for the Leicester City striker.
Wolves are said to be interested in Musa by Turkish news source Sabah, as Nuno’s men look to put their squad together for the Premier League campaign.
Musa is currently out on loan at CSKA, and the Russian side want to keep him.
But Babayev has admitted that CSKA could be blown out of the water by some of their competitors.

“We would very much like him to stay with us,” he said. “But if Leicester will have a more profitable financial offer on hand than we can offer, then it will be difficult.
“Surely, they want to sell the player, and not loan him again.”
Wolves certainly have the financial strength to blow CSKA out of the water in the race for the Nigerian.
But whether Wolves would be willing to pay Musa’s asking price remains to be seen.

Leicester are said to be hoping to get £16 million for the attacker, by the Leicester Mercury, and that seems an expensive price, given his struggles in England to date.
Wolves are thought to be on the look out for a new front man, as Nuno wants more firepower to ensure his side can be a threat at the top level.
