Palace’s on-loan forward Loic Remy has vowed to return stronger than before following his injury.
Crystal Palace’s on-loan striker Loic Remy has vowed to return from injury stronger than ever as he posted a video of himself in rehabilitation on his personal Instagram account.
Palace manager Alan Pardew thought he had pulled off one of the deals of the summer when bringing Remy to the club, but the Frenchman’s thigh injury dampened those feelings.
The 29-year-old has been ravaged by injuries for years now, and his loan spell at Selhurst Park has yet to get off the ground following yet another setback.
Remy has returned to Chelsea in order to complete his rehabilitation, and the forward is said to be around one month away from a full return at which point he will hope to make his long-awaited debut for the Eagles.
Writing on his Instagram account, Remy said: “Cant wait to be back stronger than ever. Work in progress.
“A bit of gym today with obviously some french tunes. @dossehofficiel That one is my favorite at the minute.”
Regardless of his choice of music, the important takeaway is that he is determined to come back better than before, which can only be a positive for Pardew in what has already been a successful start to the season for Palace.
The fee to take Remy to the club on loan was reported to be around £3 million, as the Frenchman attempts to prove to his critics that he has what it takes to remain injury-free and fulfill his potential as a top striker.
