Crystal Palace midfielder Andros Townsend has certainly been giving his all so far this season, as evidenced by his crossing statistics.
In a season marred by frustrated fans and poor results, there are a couple of shining lights for Crystal Palace. One of those comes in the form of Andros Townsend, who is giving his all to prove that he is worth the hefty fee that London based club paid for him.
The 25-year-old, who has been named in the England squad for their upcoming qualifiers, tops the table for crosses this season with 89 to his name.
That figure is eight more than his closest challenger Dimitri Payet, and whilst it does not always pay off you cannot knock his effort for the team.

Townsend has always had alot of admirers for the way in which he plays, and over time more and more people have been clamouring for him to get an extended run at the top. Unfortunately, Palace’s fortunes so far this season have not exactly matched those ambitions.
Wherever he has gone, whether it was Tottenham or Newcastle, Townsend could never be criticised for his effort in addition to some of the fantastic goals he has scored throughout his career. The Palace midfielder will continue to succeed regardless of where he is plying his trade, and right now Alan Pardew will be hoping he can be the man to save his job.
