Spurs have been linked with the Eagles attacker, who has publicly admitted he is “too ambitious” and wants Champions League football.

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has dropped a huge hint regarding his future amid reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur and a number of other Premier League clubs.
The Ivory Coast international, who has scored eight goals for Palace this season and 51 overall (Transfermarkt) has admitted in an interview with the Daily Mail that he is eager to test himself in the Champions League and start regularly challenging for trophies for club and country.
“I have to experience the Champions League,” he said. “I just need the opportunity, that’s it. And I’ll do the rest. I’m too ambitious. And not ambitious just to play for a top club, but to win things at club level and with the Ivory Coast.
“For me to be better, to achieve what I know I am capable of, I have to aim to play at the very highest level, to win trophies. I’m blessed to have come this far in my playing career. But I feel like there is so much more I have to offer.”
The Bleacher Report said earlier this month that Spurs were looking to move for Zaha in the summer transfer window, while the DM article states that Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund are also currently keen on the player.
However, the 26-year-old – valued at £31.5million on Transfermarkt – has also spoken publicly about his bad experiences at Old Trafford during his spell there under David Moyes and Louis van Gaal (Daily Mail), so it remains to be seen whether he would opt to return there.

Now, about Spurs, they have made it to the semi-finals of the Champions League this term and done well in the Premier League, with a great chance of finishing in the top four this season too – and that’s despite a fairly small squad and not having signed any players since January 2018.
Now that Tottenham could potentially loosen their purse strings after finally having moved into their state-of-the-art new stadium, have recently been linked with Zaha, and now have the potential to go to the next level as a club, could the Palace man’s comments effectively be a come-get-me plea to Mauricio Pochettino?
