Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing Bristol City wonderkid Alex Scott as a long-term replacement for club captain Luka Milivojevic, though the Eagles face competition from Tottenham and West Ham.
According to London World, Patrick Vieira’s side have made the 19-year-old their prime target to replace the Palace legend, with the Eagles keen to once again lower their average squad age with an exciting young signing from the Championship.
The south London side have enjoyed great success with Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise in recent years, and Palace are now looking to add Scott to their ranks, though the Premier League club face stern competition from rivals Tottenham and West Ham.
The Sun have recently reported that the Irons are keen on signing the £20m-rated Championship star, whilst TalkSport have also claimed that Tottenham are also interested in Scott, who looks set to leave the Robins in the summer for a Premier League move.

Indeed, with Palace now firmly in the race to sign Scott, the creative midfielder could be tempted with a move to Selhurst Park given how successful the pipeline from the Championship to south London has been in recent years, even with the likes of Tottenham and West Ham interested.
And with the Eagles also looking for a long-term replacement for a player as important as Milivojevic, Scott could be perfect for Vieira’s long-term plans, with the Championship starlet ready for the leap to the Premier League after another impressive year in the English second-tier.
Palace must do all they can to sign Scott in the summer

Scott is quickly building a good reputation for himself in the Championship having become one of Bristol City’s star players over the last two seasons, and for Palace, Vieira’s side must do all they can to sign the midfielder in the summer ahead of Tottenham and West Ham.
Whilst the competition might be strong, Palace have the funds and the reputation to win the race for Scott, who he himself could be keen on a move to Selhurst Park based on the success of Eze and Olise in south London over the past few seasons.
