AFC Bournemouth are reportedly plotting a late swoop to sign Fenerbahce winger Bright Osayi-Samuel, with Crystal Palace also interested in the former QPR superstar.
According to the Sun, the Cherries are eyeing a dramatic move for the Nigerian international, with Fenerbahce demanding £12m for their star winger following an impressive year in Turkey for Osayi-Samuel, who this campaign has become a regular for the Istanbul-based giant.
Premier League interest in the forward has spiked in recent days, with Feneralayi recently reporting that Palace had made an offer to bring Osayi-Samuel back to London. Yet Bournemouth could now make a move of their own as Gary O’Neil looks to make a third attacking signing this January.
With Osayi-Samuel still qualifying as a homegrown player, it makes sense why top-flight English interest in the former Championship star has recently increased, and for Bournemouth, it appears that the south coast Premier League side have not finished just yet in their attacking spending.

Indeed, the Cherries have already recruited Dango Ouattara and Antoine Semenyo this month, and with Osayi-Samuel now on Bournemouth’s radar, Palace could soon be about to miss out on signing the 25-year-old winger to a Premier League rival.
With just two days left of the January window, Bournemouth will have to move fast if they’re to sign Osayi-Samuel and to beat Palace to the winger’s signature. Yet with so little time remaining, there’s a more than likely chance that both clubs will miss out on the Fenerbahce star.
Turkey stay more likely for Osayi-Samuel than signing for Bournemouth or Palace

Osayi-Samuel has come into his own in Turkey this season, with the winger making 27 appearances in all competitions this campaign. Yet even with a interest from Premier League sides, Bournemouth and Palace might have played their cards too late in trying to bring the winger back to England.
As we know, there are only a few days of the transfer window left, and whilst a deal could be possible in what little time is remaining, Bournemouth and Palace could struggle to sign Osayi-Samuel given how highly Fenerbahce regard the Nigerian winger.
