The Crystal Palace attacker has been in inspired form this season.
Crystal Palace host Arsenal tomorrow night, with Roy Hodgson’s side looking to spring a surprise and take all three points to aid their quest to avoid relegation.
Palace, then under the guidance of Sam Allardyce, prevailed with a 3-0 victory in the corresponding fixture last season, with Wilfried Zaha providing two assists.
Zaha is expected to lead the line in tomorrow’s game and the Ivory Coast international will be hopeful of exploiting an Arsenal defence that has been vulnerable of late.
Arsenal were frequently exposed at the back in the 3-3 draw against Liverpool last week, with Laurent Koscielny showing signs of decline, and the Gunners will be without Nacho Monreal against Palace, with Shkodran Mustafi expected to come into the starting lineup.
Mustafi has produced some very impressive performances for Arsenal but also some rather disappointing ones, and his display away to Palace last season certainly falls into the latter category.
In that game Mustafi made some rather unnecessary challenges and lacked composure as he struggled to deal with the threat that Palace provided.
Zaha, who has scored four goals in the Premier League this season, will be hopeful of causing difficulties for Mustafi with his pace and skill, and that battle could well go a long way towards deciding the outcome of the game at Selhurst Park.
