The former PSG winger would be a useful addition to the Crystal Palace squad.

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has worked wonders during his time in charge at Selhurst Park, and despite what must be classed as a decent transfer window, it could be argued that the south London outfit are still a little short in the wide attacking department.
The 71-year-old can still bring in free agents if he so chooses, and with this in mind, he should consider a move for Hatem Ben Arfa, who is currently a free agent following his recent release from Paris Saint-Germain.
Ben Arfa is an incredibly talented player, and despite his less than impressive record of being extremely difficult to manage, Hodgson might just be the type of manager to get the best out of him.
The 31-year-old can play anywhere along the front-line, and possesses a certain kind of pace and trickery that would help add further potency to Crystal Palace’s attacking play.

Ben Arfa would provide stiff competition for Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend, and the Frenchman would undoubtedly keep the Palace duo on their toes throughout the course of the season.
His availability on a free means that bringing him to south London would involve little risk for Hodgson and Palace, and the experienced manager should not hesitate to snap up the mercurial winger.
