The West Bromwich Albion defender is reportedly after a return to the Premier League and Crystal Palace should move in.

Crystal Palace have undoubtedly had an impressive season in the Premier League, comfortably avoiding relegation and finishing 11th, however Roy Hodgson will not be able to rest on his laurels and will have to bring in reinforcements to ensure a successful campaign next term.
The Eagles’ defence was far from resolute last season – notably shipping three second-half goals to Manchester United at Selhurst Park – and another quality addition is needed to replace the ageing Damien Delaney.

West Bromwich Albion defender Jonny Evans is set to leave the Hawthorns this summer in pursuit of a return to England’s top flight, according to reports from the Sun, and Hodgson should really move for the player’s services.
The highly-decorated ex-Manchester United man would instantly improve the defence at Palace and is available for the small fee of £3 million, following the Baggies’ relegation last term.

His experience and composure would compliment Mamadou Sakho’s physical approach and together they could form a resolute rear-guard. Additionally, James Tomkins, having enjoyed arguably his best season at Palace, could complete a quality back-three.
If Hodgson is to sign the Northern Ireland international he will have to act quickly though, as Leicester City have already enquired over his availability (the Sun).
