Crystal Palace should consider signing Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma on loan.

Chelsea could be looking to send French defender Kurt Zouma on loan for the upcoming season.
After returning from injury, Zouma has been involved in only 247 minutes of Premier League action. He has made only three starts for the Champions in 2016/17.
Ideally, Zouma should replace Chelsea’s departing skipper John Terry, but Antonio Conte may have other ideas.
The Blues reportedly want to sign a top class defender, and are linked (Daily Star) with a move for Southampton’s highly-rated centre-back Virgil van Dijk.

If a new centre-back arrives in the summer, Conte may allow Zouma to move elsewhere on loan to get regular games under his belt.
Zouma has a contract at the London club till 2019, and there is no indication that Chelsea are looking to sell him permanently.
The 22-year-old French defender would be a great signing for Crystal Palace.
Sam Allardyce is looking to bolster his defence, and has been reportedly considering the option of signing Mamadou Sakho from Liverpool on a permanent deal.
Whether or not Palace succeed in their attempt, they must try their luck in bringing Zouma at the club. He will add quality and depth to the squad, and will get regular football under his belt.
Zouma earns a reported £40k-per-week (Daily Star) and Palace should easily match that amount. He would represent a smart signing for Palace.
