The reported Spurs target admitted last week he’d like to join a club in the Champions League.

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has given his reply to Wilfried Zaha’s public comments about his future lying away from Selhurst Park.
The Ivory Coast international, who has scored nine goals for the Eagles this season and 52 overall (Transfermarkt), admitted in an interview with the Daily Mail last week that he is eager to test himself in the Champions League and start regularly challenging for trophies for club and country.
Hodgson, speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Everton, says a large summer transfer bid for Zaha may prompt the club to give him the green light to leave, and the boss admitted that he does not have the power to veto a deal.
However, Hodgson did remind reporters that the 26-year-old is contracted to Palace until 2023, and also said the player’s heart is with the club.

“We haven’t discussed plans in that respect,” he told Football London. “I am not ruling out that something like that may come up, but no-one at the club has any interest in seeling Wilfried Zaha.
“We hope we don’t get offers, but we are realistic. If one day they call me in and say this is the situation, I shall be in their hands. I don’t have the power to veto any decisions of that nature.”
The Bleacher Report said earlier this month that Spurs were looking to move for Zaha in the summer transfer window, while the Daily Mail article states that Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund are also currently keen on the player.
