Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha starred once again on Sunday, terrorising Arsenal in a 3-2 win at Selhurst Park – and it’s sparked more speculation about his future.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed another strong season, and the Daily Mail report that Zaha may well leave Palace for around £80million during this summer’s transfer window.

Palace may now need to think about potential replacements for Zaha, and whilst Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish is one option, it’s also claimed that Everton’s Ademola Lookman is wanted too.

Lookman, 21, has started just three Premier League games under Marco Silva despite shining on loan at RB Leipzig last season, and his future is somewhat unclear.

Everton would no doubt love to keep such a talented young player, but he needs to be playing regularly, and if he isn’t going to get the games under Silva, then he may well look to leave.

A return to South London may also be appealing to the former Charlton Athletic man, and Palace’s alleged interest should tempt Marcel Brands into pursuing a cheeky swap deal with the Eagles.

If Palace want Lookman as a Zaha replacement, Everton should be prepared to offer a huge chunk of cash plus Lookman in order to get Zaha, bringing a real spark to the Everton attack, whilst Zaha’s versatility would be well-received too.

Everton wanted Zaha last summer according to the Daily Mail, and whilst a move remains difficult to imagine, using Palace’s interest in Lookman could just help the Toffees launch a stunning move for Zaha this summer.
