Guedioura shined for Forest in Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw against West Brom.
Crystal Palace owner Steve Parish has applauded former Eagles midfielder Adlene Guedioura for his performance during Nottingham Forest’s 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion.
Forest were unlucky not to win the match on Tuesday night, but could have just as easily suffered a defeat with West Brom hitting the bar through new signing Dwight Gayle after Matt Phillips had equalised late on.
Algeria international Guedioura scored a stunning goal for Aitor Karanka’s side in the 57th minute, cracking a low drive from 25 yards past goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.
Guedioura almost put Forest 2-0 to the good from inside his own half as Forest countered from a Baggies corner, pinging an unbelievable effort that was tipped wide by the back-peddling Johnstone. Parish was impressed, and reacted on Twitter.
Guedioura joined Palace in the summer of 2013 but only managed to make 19 appearances for Parish’s side, instead going on loan to Watford twice before completing a permanent move to Vicarage Road.
