The Malian winger is not a regular at the Premier League side.
Crystal Palace’s Bakary Sako and Watford’s Ben Watson in action
Leeds United came up short this season in their hunt for Premier League football. In the end they just lacked the killer instinct to make the play-offs and push for promotion and this summer bringing some attacking impetus to the club will be key to ensure they are in the mix yet again.
One player they should certainly consider making a move for is Crystal Palace’s winger Bakary Sako.
The Malian has slipped down the pecking order at Selhurst Park, but was a brilliant asset in the second-tier with his former club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He can play out wide or behind the front-man and would be an ideal player for Garry Monk’s preferred 4-2-3-1 formation at Elland Road.

Sako, who has just one year remaining on his deal at Palace, would seem a tough player to sign, but Leeds have an advantage in any hunt for the player.
They have done plenty of business with the agency that represents Sako in the past. SportCover represent the likes of Michy Batshuayi, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Benjamin Mendy. They are also responsible for the Leeds under-23 enigma Amadou Haidara, recent Elland Road loanee Hadi Sacko and former captain Sol Bamba.
The contacts are already in place and Sacko would be an excellent signing that Leeds need.
