Crystal Palace are now keen to hold talks with Graham Potter – although West Ham also have an interest in his services.
What’s the story?
Well, the 47-year-old is unsurprisingly a wanted man after receiving his P45 at Chelsea on Monday.
Potter – according to talkSPORT – was contacted by Leicester almost immediately after losing his job at Stamford Bridge, although he chose to reject the Foxes.
Now, Crystal Palace look set to have a go.
It comes after the Telegraph claimed that Potter is also of interest to West Ham as they consider the future of David Moyes.
TalkSPORT believe Crystal Palace want to speak to the Solihull-born tactician about replacing Roy Hodgson at the end of the season.

The south Londoners opted to bring the 75-year-old back to Selhurst Park as an emergency option after Patrick Vieira steered them towards the relegation zone.
However, Hodgson is not expected to stay in SE25 into the 2023/24 campaign, with Steve Parish searching for a long-term Vieira replacement between now and the summer.
Crystal Palace or West Ham would thrive under Potter
In our view, Potter is the best coach out there when it comes to realistic options for Crystal Palace and West Ham.
Of course, the likes of Brendan Rodgers, Ralph Hasenhuttl and Jesse Marsch are decent coaches, although Potter has proven himself capable of overseeing an effective, long-term project while also playing attractive football.
His success at Brighton also involved a number of young prospects rising through, such as Moises Caicedo and Tariq Lamptey, which should be of interest to Crystal Palace and West Ham – both of whom possess strong academies.
It could be tough to convince Potter, as he may feel he can get a job at another of Europe’s elite sides after Chelsea offered him a chance.
Be sure to keep an eye on the situation, as a manager of his quality surely won’t be unemployed for long.
