Crystal Palace are confident that they will beat Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal among other clubs to the signing of Cheick Doucoure from RC Lens in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic.
Crystal Palace confident of signing Arsenal target Cheick Doucoure
The Athletic have reported that Crystal Palace are ‘increasingly confident that they can secure a deal’ with Lens for midfielder Doucoure this summer.
The report has claimed that reaching personal terms with the 22-year-old Mali international midfielder will not be a problem.
The Mirror reported on May 26 that Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion, Crystal Palace, Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers all have registered interest in Doucoure.
However, it seems that Palace are confident that they will beat them all to the signature of Doucoure.

Transfer happening?
In our view, Crystal Palace could be able to beat the likes of Arsenal and Everton to the signature of RC Lens midfielder Cheick Doucoure in the summer transfer window.
After all, the Eagles are confident of getting a deal done.
Doucoure made 33 starts and one substitute appearance in Ligue 1 for Lens last season.
The Malian midfielder scored one goal and gave four assists in those games.
