Sunderland defender Patrick Van Aanholt has been a target for Crystal Palace.
According to a report in The Guardian, Crystal Palace have had a bid accepted for Norwich City full-back Robbie Brady.
Norwich have accepted an initial £9 million offer for Brady, with Palace now looking to complete a deal.
Sam Allardyce is known to want additions to ensure that his Palace side get out of trouble.

The Eagles are currently in the relegation zone, and Allardyce feels that Brady would enhance the quality of his defence.
Palace want to add a new left-back, and had thought to be going after Sunderland defender Patrick Van Aanholt.
However, that deal is now in doubt, as if Palace do complete a move for Brady, the Dutch defender does not seem likely to be a target.

Whether that is good news for Sunderland remains to be seen. While Van Aanholt is one of their better players, he has reportedly asked to leave Sunderland (The Sun), and David Moyes had been looking to cash in on the former Chelsea man.
However, Sunderland may have to find another buyer for Van Aanholt now, as Palace appear to have moved on.
