Crystal Palace may have to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Hugo Ekitike permanently if they want to bring him to Selhurst Park before the transfer window closes.
According to L’Equipe, PSG have turned down a loan offer from Crystal Palace for Hugo Ekitike.
The outlet states that the French club want a permanent sale, though a loan could still be a possibility if they manage to sign Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt.
If Palace desperately want Ekitike, then they may need to get a move on, as they are not the only club who are interested in him.
The Telegraph recently reported that their Premier League rivals Brentford and West Ham United are also in the race for his signature.

With Palace, Brentford and West Ham all keen on Ekitike, there is good chance that the French youngster moves to England before the transfer market shuts.
His switch to PSG, which saw the Ligue 1 champions pay £30m for his services, has not quite worked out, hence why they are open to selling him.
Nevertheless, it is not hard to see why Premier League clubs are currently looking at Ekitike.
He is clearly a talented player, scoring 10 league goals in 24 outings during his final season at Reims, and has time on his side at just 21 years of age.
From what Ekitike has shown in his career so far, he has the potential to develop into a top striker. However, he is not there yet, which is why it made sense for Palace to explore a loan deal instead of making a big offer for him.
It appears, though, that they may have to sign Ekitike permanently after having that proposal to take the former Reims man for a year rejected.
