HITC Sport understands that Cohen Bramall is on trial with the club

Premier League Crystal Palace are again looking to pluck a young star from non-league football with Cohen Bramall in their sights, HITC Sport understands.

The 20-year-old is currently with Hednesford Town in the EvoStik Northern Premier, and has been in scintillating form this season.

Bramall, who has never been with a professional club, can play left-back or left wing and has had the scouts flocking to watch him.

Palace have a rich history of looking at the non-league ranks and have signed a couple in the last 12-months with the likes Randall Williams, Freddie Ladapo and Keshi Anderson all earning deals at Selhurst Park.

Now The Eagles’ scouting team have managed to bring Bramall into the club on trial and HITC Sport understands that he played a starring role in a behind-closed doors game against local rivals Brentford, with the likes of Wilfried Zaha and Yohan Cabaye also taking part.

HITC Sport understands that Bramall also has the likes of West Ham, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham Forest and Blackburn Rovers looking at him but Palace are favourites to land his signature.
