Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on securing the services of Brazilian international Lucas Lima.

According to reports from Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte, Premier League outfit Crystal Palace are lining up an ambitious swoop to secure the services of Santos star Lucas Lima.
Crystal Palace have shown a lot of ambition in the transfer market so far this summer by splashing the cash to secure the services of high profile players such as Christian Benteke, Andros Townsend, James Tomkins and Steven Mandanda.
Despite the summer splurge, manager Alan Pardew is still believed to be in the market to further strengthen his squad and signing another attacking player seems to be on the agenda for the 55-year-old.

The likes of Loic Remy, Simone Zaza, Moussa Sissoko and even Mario Balotelli are just some of the names being bandied about as targets for Palace and in surprise reports emerging out of Brazil, the Eagles are currently said to be eyeing up a swoop for Santos star Lucas Lima.
Lima is a Brazilian international who is very highly rated and the 26-year-old was even linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid a few months ago (The Sun).
UOL Esporte have now gone on to claim that Crystal Palace are also interested in Lima and the Premier League side are hopeful of landing the services of the attacking midfielder on a year-long loan deal, with an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.

As an encouragement for Palace, Lima was quoted saying by Samba Foot that he is aware of the interest from England and the attacker dropped a hint that he is open to facilitating such a move.
The attacking midfielder had said regarding the speculation, “Anything is possible. A lot can happen in the window. I speak generally. The Olympics is over now and it will be busy.
“I’m happy for the team, the campaign in Brazil. I am calm. There has been speculation in the press and not everything that comes out in the press was true. I am calm. At the beginning of the window it hindered me a little, now I’m down to earth, quiet.
“I had something from England and from China in this window, which I did not hear about in the media. Some clubs approach you and do not come out in the press.”
