Wan-Bissaka was just sold to Manchester United for £50 million, and Palace fans expected a substantial amount to be spent on a replacement, rather than a tenth of the fee.
Jenkinson himself has not played regular Premier League football since a spell at West Ham on loan in 2015/16.
Palace need better than the former Charlton trainee, who has struggled with injury.

Arsenal are trying to get a deal done with Palace for Wilfried Zaha, but The Guardian report they will offer just £40 million.
This is £60 million short of Palace’s asking price, with Manchester United due 20 per cent of the fee.
