Crystal Palace paid a reported £12 million for the winger, who is said to be wanted by Leicester City.

Crystal Palace fans are reacting on Twitter after Leicester City were linked with move for Eagles winger Andros Townsend.
Leicester manager Claude Puel has lodged enquiries Townsend, according to the Daily Mail (June 5th, liveblog entry 15:36).
However, the Palace man is one of two players allegedly being pursued in his position, along with Manchester City’s Patrick Roberts.

And the report fails to state whether Townsend is being sought in addition to, or instead of, the Roberts, who has been mentioned as part of a potential swap deal involving Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez.
Townsend has scored or made 21 goals in 79 games for Crystal Palace, for whom he signed from Newcastle United two summers ago.
And surely the Eagles faithful would rather keep him at Selhurst Park? This is what they are saying…
The 26-year-old, who has 13 caps for England, is under contract for another three years at Crystal Palace.
Should Palace consider selling Townsend?
